I've never fell in one but I overhauled the tractor my great Grandfather was bush hogging with when he found one,the front wheels passed over it but the back tires fell in and over extended the 3 point, broke off the lift cylinder and dang near ruined that VAC case,shook him up too.the hole ended up being about 6 feet around and about 4 feet deep,thats small compared to some down there in south Missouri,My Mom's place has one around 50 feet wide and 20 or so deep,thats the biggest I've seen
