It's true a 1/4" deck isn't common today, but is it needed??? The new Woods "Brush Bull" is designed so the water and trash won't sit on the deck, so over the years it won't easily rust out. Another thing, look at how the blades are attached on all the rotary cutters. Woods easily has the best system!! You don't need a huge socket to remove the pins, and on the woods i have now, they always come right out even if i don't remove them every year! The Woods medium duty cutter has a 10 guage deck, 1/4" skirt and a 120 HP gear box! The heavy duty model has a 7 guage deck, 1/4" skirt and a 150 HP gearbox! They both have slip clutches to protect the drive line, (i wouldn't buy one with out a slip clutch!) I've looked over a lot of rotary cutters, as i'm about to buy a new one my self, and the "Brush Bulls" are where my moneys going! Robert

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
