Thank you everybody for your advice. But I seem to have not clarified my requirement clearly. Since some of you may be owning Chinese tractors, whoever you imported them from must have quoted you a CIF or an FOB price. In Nepal, being in close proximity with China the transport charges are not all that high. But the price that I am being quoted, is comparitively much higher. So if any of you have been quoted an FOB Beijing price on any of the makes please do let me know, so that I can know whether the exporter is asking for a greater markup or if the transporter is swindling me. My budget is very restricted and so I am looking for a Chinese tractor, else the option of importing an Indian make 4WD, 25-35 HP also exists, the cost being higher. I appreciate your help.
