No pics or specs, but they were called manure carriers. Have heard of cable versions, but this farm had one that ran on a track out into the cowyard. Used it the first 18 months here 30 years ago, until we could afford a used barn cleaner. Worst thing was when they tripped early, dumping the load so I could load it all over again. They do make handy shop hoists for light loads- that's what ours does now!
