My opinion...Airless guns are not any good for automotive type paints. Use a HVLP or a standard air gun. Airless are best at latex paints. The wagner and similar homeowner grade guns are poor quality compaired to the commercial airless rigs which costs lots. The commercial rigs are for latex paint, although if you are very good and have a small enough tip you can spray oil base enamel with a commercial airless rig for painting things like metal buildings, but never a tractor or car. I have used some $2000 airless rigs many hours, but would not try it on a tractor. They just put out too much paint too fast.
