Like so many other tractor companies, Massey-Harris acquired the Henry M. Wallis company in 1928. I have a neat picture of a 1914 Wallis Cub that strongly influenced some of the Massey-Harris design in the 30's. This Cub weighed 8350 lbs and had 4 cylinder 840 cubic inch engine (13,759 cc). It was named the Cub to distinguish it from the Wallis Bear that in 1912 was twice its size.
