Independent PTO: John Deere 50: Seperate clutches for wheels and PTO, either can be engaged or disengaged without affecting the other. Live PTO: David Brown 885: 2-stage clutch is pushed part way to disengage wheels, farther to disengage both wheels and PTO; tractor can be stopped or shifted without disengaging PTO, but must be stopped to disengage PTO. Non-live PTO: International M: One clutch for PTO and wheels, PTO can turn when tractor is in neutral but stops turning while clutch is down. Ground Driven PTO: Do any tractors really have this? Examples?: Only turns when wheels are turning, turns backward when tractor backs up (if actually exists).
