More than likely that "Liquid Grease" is what your transmissin calls for anyway. In the old days straight 90 weight "Gear oil" was the norm, now you can buy multiviscosity stuff like 85 / 140 which is what I'd use in the tranny if it were mine. It won't stop the leaks but should slow em down.
