Personnally, all 574/674 I have seen were row crop type front axle. Definitely the utility type like those I have seen later on 684, 784 and the one you own are superiors. I guess you have a 1971 or 1972 model, I understand why you are happy with it and I bet your 574 is equiped with a Y axle, the fast one. On my farm, a 4WD is a must and not a nice to have. A 239 CID engine /wet sleeve weighs around 905 lbs, this is 400 lbs more than a 236 CID Perkins dry sleeve. This is why I recommended to avoid 2 WD heavy front end / short turning radius tractor in "soft ground" and it applies to any brand/model that corresponds to that description.
