I own and drive a 1998 F-150 and it now has 53k on it. I bought it in 98 for 13250. It has the v-6 4.2, and five speed. I would buy another one. The only thing that I don't like is that Ford put the hydraulic clutch cylynder inside of the bellhousing, but I have not had a problem with it. If it needed replacing, the tranny would have to come out. My point: I wouldn't buy a standard, and would buy an auto. I put front brakes pads in it, rotors were turned, new tires, and plugs and wires. I did have a skip under load, and thanks to f-150 online, it was the wires. they have a high incidence of core failure. So I put a new set on, and the problem was over. The plugs were simple to change. Again, I think their a value. No grease fittings in the front end, only on the pitman arm, so I guess the ball joints fail. Look around there are a lot of these trucks on the market, but you could check NADA on line (www.nada.com) for value. Good luck.

He owned a small sawmill for sawing "baccer" sticks. The Super A was the powerplant. When I was old enough (7 or 8), I would get up early and be dressed to
