Mine is a 4X4 too. So far, I've had good luck with it (put about 13,000 miles on it.) On the chevies with allisons, 3:73s are standard. Actually, if it did have 3:73s and you pulled, you'd know it. My mom has an '00 2500 with the same motor with 3:73s and it pulls horrible. Since then though, they've changed the cams and the exhaust and mine seems to pull a lot better.
