gas tank problems in JD 2010

I have a john deere 2010 that I have been working out problems on for a number of years. One problem is dirt and what sems to be leaf fragments showing up in the gas tank. I have tried a number of times to remove them. I wonder if a pump is available to pump all the gas with the contaminates out as a further step before removing the tank. I have considered removing the tank and taking it to a radiator shop to be cleaned and any repairs needed. More ideas?
