Mike - I have a 60's Industrial 2135 and there is a filter on mine. It is located just below the left side round cover with the PTO in/out lever. The lever comes out with the cover, so don't attempt to remove the lever. With the cover off, you can reach in and unscrew the filter with your hand. It is a washable metal filter. If that does not work, post on the M/F board. There are guys there who know most all of it.
