Kevin, hay has set you on a good track. You might also just stick your finger in the exhaust pipe to see if it's oil or water. From what you say, only winter happened between now and when you last used it. Hard freezes and not enough anti freeze can crack heads, blocks and head gaskets. They make steam. Oil burning usually tails off some as parts expand with heat. Steam just keeps coming if you've got something cracked. Check your water for oil and your oil for water. Do a compression check. Plan for the worst -- some cracked cast part -- and hope for the best. good luck Steve
