Several things that have to be looked at...I have never put a v8 in a Allis, but here is the steps needed....Make up an adapter plate to bolt the engine to the tractor trans. The adaptor must be the thickness required, so the trans. shaft will reach the pilot hole in the end of the crank shaft of the v8 engine...hope the fly wheel is large enough they generaly run about 10" to 12", you will most likely have to make a new pilot bushing...the front motor mounts will have to be made up.....tighten the bolts real good and hang on......
