Are 3pt Linkages Easily Exchangable?

My Fordson Major 3pt lift linkages are worn and original replacements are hard to find. Excluding the lifting arms on the rockshaft, is it possible to fit other brands of 3pt hardware without major modifications? I guess Ford/New Holland dealerships would be a good place to find parts to fit.
