Can anyone help me identify the year and model tractor I have. Just bought a Ford tractor form a friend of mine, we don't know the year or model. He was told it is a Ford 5000 but we are not sure. All decals and numbers are just about gone. We have been over the tractor with a fine tooth comb and can only find two sets of letters and number combinations. The first we belive to be a serial number is A270458 and the second we found on the engine pan rail is E675559. The tractor is a 4cyl diesel, blue and white in color and it has an eight speed transmission. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
