Condenser is inside the distributer, the black round bakelite plastic thing on the right side of the engine. 5 pencil sized wires coming from the top. pop 2 spring clips from the side top lifts off. pull rotor on the inside straight up. don't lose the spring clip on the shaft. slide black bakelight plastic thingy dome straight up. condenser is round,with a wire from it. Check point gap, I think gap should be 0.022 or the thickness of a thicker match book if you are caught short. The contacts should not be pitted or burned. Replace parts as removed. They are keyed so they can only go together in one way. All are necessary and none left over. Coil is on the side of the engine where center wire of the distributer goes/comes from. Two small wires and one large wire. If you r+r coil there is a difference where the small wires go. Condensers are 1/8 the price of a coil. Not all coils are the same. Next time it quits test for spark. Should be fat and blue.
