Hi all, I moved out of the city and have never lived in the country before. So I am unfamiliar with farm tractors. I have about five acres of land and am not considering "farming" it. I just would like to learn about and hopefully buying and restoring an old farm tractor. I want it to be useable as far as keeping the field mowed down, and light duty trailer pulling, as well as display. Please be patient with some of my questions. Once I get more familiar, I will post in the proper forums. My first question is; Do I need a narrow front tractor or the wider front, as far as the wheels go? I have moderate slopes and hills. I am not sure how dangerous the narrow front tractors are as far as tipping over, they look like they might fairly easy. Is this a concern or are they pretty stable? I like the look of them better than the wider front tractors. Thanks Rick T.
