Sounds like it's a pretty good price if tractor and mower are in good shape, it is true Yanmar builds JD compacts but on the other hand dont expect alot of help from JD when searching for repair parts for your Yannie, there is still Yanmar parts dealers around it might be worth your time to find one that is close to you or willing to ship you stuff, theres a big stink going on right now in the Yanmar replacement parts division about the grey-market tractors, they dont want to sell parts for the greys due to their deal with JD, but the one your looking at is not a grey with just the 3 number designation (255) it is a legal tractor sold in the U.S. when Yanmar did import here before the JD deal, grey market Yanmars have a 4 number designation 1500, 2210, 2500, etc.
