Yes, I will be looking for a trailer soon too and have the concerns on width that you have. I would like a trailer with the top of the deck at top of tire height and the deck width out to the edge of the tires. Tractor would roll over tire tops or I would put wheel wells or covers over tires for carrying other loads, like furniture. Does anyone know of a maker who has such a trailer in the 4000 to 5000 lbs capacity range? I know it is a little higher to load but it seems worth it to get the width without having a super WIDE trailer.
