My dad had a MF 65. We had lots of problems with the planatary. John Deere has them but they are much better. If you hear a popping sound, the bearings are loose!! You said you dont think there leaking. Just because you dont see oil on the outside it dont mean its not leaking. They can leak on the inside and this oil gets on the brake.
