Folks, PLEASE be running an up to date (this week, updated) virus protection program. Norton, McAfee, etc.

This Klez one has what, 8 different versions out & about, and some are quite new. You need a fresh update on your virus sotfware.

Klez looks through all your email addresses stored in your computer - not just the email program list, but all the temp internet files, etc. Any time your infected computer sees an email address on a web page, Klez goes after it.

It also fakes the 'sent from' address from that list, so it might look like we are getting a message from a name we recognise. That is _not_ where it actually came from. So, it didn't matter if you didn't get the from: address.

For a message topic, it grabs a filename from your hard drive. So, there was no specific threat against tractor users - just happened to grab a file name that interested you.

So, everyone, please get up to date on this virus business. It is really slowing down the internet, this one has been so good at perpetuating itself, and I get 3-5 130k messages every day... I have not stopped posting my real email address here, but have a heart everyone, clean up your viruses! :)
