That site has been around for a couple years now. Guy had so many hits in the first couple weeks that he had to set up a mirror site to handle all the traffic. There is no 'virus' spread through viewing a webpage. You can be 'tagged' by cookies that will track your web surfing activities from viewing a page...Just turn off permanent cookies or 'prompt' to accept them...keep the ones you want...reject the ones you don't...and get and use AdAware once a week to make sure that your puter is not 'phoning' home. You are way more likely to bring 'spyware' into your own puter such as Gator, FlySwat, DoubleClick, Eudoro, etc... When you DL 'free' programs...just remember that nothing is really free...
