Marks link lays it out pretty well for the Sherman M-4, the little Stuart used the Cadillac V8. The wildest engine has to be that Chrysler industrial multi bank engine, 30 cylinders! Heard it made a most unique sound when under power, I bet it did. That Ford V-8 was OHV, odd when Ford built all flatheads, but have seen them on pulling tractors. No matter what kind of engine or horsepower, there was always a time when it wasn't enough. John in Nebr.
