Any work with your tractor should be a pleasure and there is no pleasure if you are not comfortable. so your choice may be a bit different than mine. I have a couple utility reactors. IHC574 and MF175 but I feel quite comfortable with my M Farmall. I do not fear the side roll as much as the inability to steer or stop with brakes. Also I feel more threatened by a backward roll than by a side roll. The higher seat of the row crop tractors make some feel intimidated. I would suggest some kind of a low profile for a novice but I would consider good brakes, Weighted front end and good steering more important than low profile. IF YOU FEEL THREATENED, DO NOT DRIVE THERE!!
