In my area of western Washington, the local high school football coach was also a farmer. In the summer, he required his players to either work out in the weightroom at the school, or bring timeslips showing they were bucking bales for someone like me. Lets see- weightroom for free, or buck bales for money? Even the linemen could come up with the right answer for that one! We had a cute sophomore cheerleader for a "nanny", and when the Mrs. and I left for work, we simply told her how many guys we needed that evening, and what time. If someone didn't work out well, we told her not to invite him again. Needless to say, we got well motivated, large, strong bale buckers, and put in a lot of hay of an evening.
