The Duramax already out sells the Cummins,that
should tell you something.Lot of rumors started
by people like you that are misinformed.Not any
more head gasket problem than the powerstroke,or
dowell pins getting into the timing gears like
the cummins.Why has the 2003 cummins adopted the
same fuel (rail) system as the Duramax.I've had
two cummins trucks and a powerstroke,my duramax
outpulls them both.I'm not talking about the GL5
ford V6 or the new Cummins,(2003),don't have any
experience with them,and I don't want a stick shift,an automatic is more effiecient,as most
people shift at the wrong time,and loose power,
and waste fuel.The duramax has a higher GVW
rating,and a bigger rear end than a dodge or ford,
and actually has brakes that work compared to
the dodge.
