I was introduced to Valmet in Bolivia, since I had not heard of them before going there 10 years ago. They seemed to be rugged and dependable because of the way they were being used (misused). They weren't very cosmetically pleasing to look at but I think we pay big money for curved glass and Bill Blass contours. The Valmet had kind of square cornered utilitarian sheet metal and were a basic brown color. As I have said before, a tractor is only as good as its company/dealer support system. Good luck, Ed
