Has your 2950 recently had a new clutch installed?
If it has its very important to have the flywheel
surface ground. JD is using a slightly larger
clutch disc, and if the flywheel surface isn't
machined to match , it has a rib around the outside of the flywheel that drags. I recently
encountered this with a clients tractor.
Too much of a hurry to get tractor back,so didn't
have flywheel ground, hoped it would wear in.
Well it won't! Take the time!
