would not care to have an equipment trailer decked in Cypress or Redwood. Won't take the weight,nor stress of the load. Look at what the new ones come decked in... here it is OAK and for a dang good reason. ATF will work, sparay it on with a garden sprayer. Thin it with diesel. Treat it twice... then treat it once every 6 months.
