Go to this web site, market place , photo ads, and take a look and see what you can find. There may be something in Minn. you can pick up. I would go with a brand that has a dealer in your area, get one with power steering, 2 stage clutch or remote pto, 3point hitch and at least 35 h.p., and a wide front end, and diesel. Reading the replys below you have gotten some good advice, especially the "ride it around" for a while and put it thru its paces. I have an Int'l 454 diesel early 70 model and wouldn't trade it for hardly anything. If I am not mistaken, on those 8-n fords you have to almost stop to get the pto back in gear, the lever is under the seat and you only have three forward gears and minimal power. I'd keep shopping for a real tractor. good luck
