Michael: I live about 30 minutes from Mt. Pleasant, and no, the World Expo and Old Treshers are not the same thing. O.T. is held each year, ending on Labor Day weekend. Can't remember the dates for W.E., but thought it was earlier in summer. Haven't been to either in a few years, but they're both a great time. Mt. Pleasant is not huge, so get hotel reservations early. You could stay in Mt. P., Fairfield (20 mins), Ottumwa (35 min?), Burlington (30 min or so) or somewhere else, but many camp. Plenty of stuff to see in the area such as state parks, U. of Iowa (45 min), Coralridge Mall (same distance), etc. Need more info? Ask away. I'll try to check into the World Farm Expo, and see what I can find out. mclark@bandag.com
