THE SERIAL NO IS LOCATED ON AN ALUMINIUM PLATE ON THE FOOT PLATES IN FRONT OF THE CLUTCH PEDAL. WHICH IS NEAR TO THE OPENING OF THE STEERING ARM. IF THAT PLATE IS MISSING THERE ARE NO OTHER SERIAL NO'S OTHER THAN THE ONE ON THE ENGINE. DO NOT GET CONFUSED WITH THE ENGINE NO'S WHICH ARE CAST ON THE CYLINDER HEAD WHICH MEAN NOTHING. THE ENGINE SERIAL NO IS FOUND ON THE INJECTION PUMP SIDE OF THE BLOCK ALONG THE BOTTOM LINE OF THE CYL HEAD, TOWRADS THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE.
