I know of no domestic, European or Japanese manufacturers currently building flathead engines. This is probably because flatheads are inferior for power density, emissions and fuel economy relative to more modern OHV/OHC designs. (Note even the Briggs & Stratton, Tecumseh, etc single cylinder air-cooled engine builders are moving toward OHV designs - probably for the same reasons). However perhaps in China or other 3rd world countries multi-cylinder flatheads are still being built??
