I've always owned GM trucks, and although it doesn't get much below -45F here in the Adirondacks my trucks always throw out good heat. If your core gets warm, the problem could be flow. You can have 500 degree coolant, but if you have low flow your core will cool off when you blow cold air at it. Take the time to pull the core and see if it's crudded up. Good luck, nothing worse than your feet not thawing when you get done work.
