The equipment I use is a 1957 JD 820, 14ft LZA drill, 14ft rodweeder, 15ft graham chisel plow, and 1967 JD 95 combine. Total cost for all of that equipment was $800. $50 for the drill, $50 for the rodweeder, and $700 for the combine. The rest was free. So yes, I would buy older equipment to stay out of debt.
