Between 1937 and 1939, most tractor manufacturers brought out 'styled' tractors with sheet metal that covered the radiator and steering mechanism. This sheet metal was often quite streamlined, especially compared to what came before. Often very little else was changed, but the tractors look substantially different and newer than the 'unstyled' models. Find a picture of a '35 or '36 John Deere A, and then look at a '40 or newer. They LOOK a lot different.
