IH, I have a 1996 Dodge 2500 series extend cab with full 8ft box. It has v10 with higher rearend, and it is automatic too. I use it daily on the farm and as personal vehicle, It now has just under 100,000 miles. I haul hay and straw with it all the time. The trailers I pull have 200 to 275 bales on them. Also pull 24ft gooseneck with skiddloader all time. Have even been pulling loaded 400 bushel grain wagons with it. I really like it. We get 12-15 on empty trips. Have done nothing to it since bought other than regular maintenance. If I did alot of long distance pulling then I would probably consider diesel. But for the $5000.00 extra price when I got mine that can buy alot of gasohol.
