Please understand this.... Everytime I go down a higway or even a side road somewhere with any piece of equipment that my first thought is getting there in one piece. The new equipment has so many lights that it looks like a christmas tree going down the road. The facts are that accidents are not caused by farm equipment. They are caused by vehicle drivers who are either not paying attention or are distracted or just use bad judgement. Notice I didn't say city people because I have seen people who should know better do dumb things. Most people in rural areas know and understand what farmers are doing and live with the slight inconvience for a few minutes and let it go. To the rest I always smile and wave and just go about my business. I don't know the numbers but I imagine for the number of miles that farmers spend on highways these days the incident rate is probabaly lower than we think. So when I'm on the road please, watch out for me, thats what all the flashing lights are for. p.s. tell your friends that tractors have turn signals and we all use them. That would save lives!

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
