Hi John, My son was changing oil and tires by himself at 10 and by 12 was doing minor tune-ups and hauling 20,000lbs on the water truck for 3 miles of county road. At 14 he was changing out refrigeration compressors for me on low temp refer units. At 18 he was ASE certified on gas and diesel. My grandson is 12 and I wouldn't let him change my oil nor drive my tractor without me being right there in control at all times. He'll be lucky to drive a car at 16 as correct decisions just don't happen with the grandson. Two very different kids! T_Bone
