You can make some hoops to bow over the tractor that will set in tibing welded to the sides of your trailer. You can get an idea by looking at semi trailers with that very heavy and rugged tarp they use to cover a load. That stuff does not seem to blow in the wind, and the hoops hold the tarp away from the load. You make it taut with bungees. You might be able to make something rugged enough for occasional use by using duck tarp. You might be able to modify one to make a wedge at the front, but at the least you might be able to cut a tarp into an arch to match your arch and buy an eyelet set and put in eyelets to fasten ti to the hoop with bungees.
