HI Forum First better check child labor laws. Not sure but I think it is 12-14, maybe 16, can not remember or may have changed. AS for me Dad turned a tractor just about the time I was started to think about driving I was about ten. I started to drive at about 14, 15 on hills 16 brush Hogging. But also started hunting alone at 13, and reloading my own shells. Think if someone is around to watch and help the young person, 10 is ok. But only for short time and more for play. Make sure brakes are in good order and on level ground. I would not ask a younger person to work in the field alone. Be safe!! Punchie
