Every person (or kid) is different, so it is difficult to set an exact age.. For a public event, I think it would be difficult for the orginisers to allow anyone younger than 16 to be in it. If you pay attention to recent court cases, it's difficult to allow anyone under 18 any more - judges receintly decided parents can sue now, and kids can sue you again when they become 18, for _anything_ that goes wrong. Double jepordy. Parent's can't sign away kid's rights, and without the kid signing, the parent's signature doesn't mean anything. But a kid can't sign away his rights, being a minor... So, both can sue, now & later. My understanding of it, I am not a lawyer. I do think liability laws are a bigger threat to our country than other countries.... I learned to drive tractor at 7, and ran them for hours plowing by myself when I was 8. That was me & that was then, I don't know what is actually right or wrong. --->Paul
