We use a heavy duty 9 foot Schwiess that has 3 cross augers and a huge blower on a JD 4960 Front wheel assist. It will blow about 75-100 feet depending on the snow and wind speed. It will also blow about as high as you want depending on how you set the discharge auger. It has "teeth" on the cross augers that help it chew thru frozen snow. Make sure you get one with shear pins, or you'll be tearing up gear boxes and drive shafts. We've used this for about a 100 hours and so far all I've replaced is a roller chain. Good Luck, Harold P.S. It's nice the snow has all gone south and east this year. We still don't have any!!!
