Ferguson FE 35 engines

High all,

there is an opportunity for me to bye an fergusen FE 35. It was built with two different diesel engines, a 4 Zyl. Standard 23 c and later with a
3 Zyl. perkins diesel.

Has anybody experience in which one of those is a "better" engine in liability and spareparts supply? Was the standard 23c engine manufactured by Ferguson, or where did it come from?
