I remember one my grandpa used to tell. Seems a cocky rich neighbor bought a new horse buggyback in the early 20's. Had all the fancy fringe and all. Would have been ok but he had to make sure everyone knew he was the only feller who could afford one. Well the local boys visited the place one night. Tied all their ropes together, then to the buggy. Hid behind the barn and started hollerin. The old boy came to the door with the 12 gauge and they started pullin the rope. He let a couple rounds go into the air and still the buggy kept rolling. Shot a little closer to the buggy. Still it kept moving. In the end they lost their ropes but there was no more buggy.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
