I used to have a dipstick heater that I used many years ago on one of my cars. 115Volt. I remember my car sitting in -10f weather for two days in the winter of 1989 and after leaving that dipstick heater in for 1-2 hours the oil was nice and warm and the car started right up like it was running for an hour. Of course I lost the dipstick heater a few years ago. Tryed buying a new one a year or two ago and it didnt work.
