I am not familiar with your tractor, however if it has a pump that is mounted to the block and shaft driven from inside the block, it could be leaking back into the block. Hope this makes sense.
Might want to check your engine oil if your pump is like I described. The power steering oil is not good for your engine if it is getting in there.
