Just another note. Go out to a dealer and let the wife climb on a few of them. Make sure it is older iron unless you have lots of $$$ to finance a new one.

Let her tell you which ones are "cute", which ones are comfortable to her. Get her input on the purchase. This way won't lose a prospective ranch hand and if she likes it she may feel compelled to do the maintenance :) (at least the minor stuff like oil changes).

My wife doesn't care for my tractors but has no qualms about driving my MF 50C backhoe around the place. Comfort or power thing I guess.
